Join us for the Chhandayan 2020 Tabla Ashram

The event starts on Saturday, June 26th at 8 pm (orientation session) and ends on July 4th 10.30 pm, with a daily schedule of 6 to 8 am, 9 am to 1 pm, 2 to 4 pm, 4.30 to 7 pm and 8 to 10.30 pm.

Led by Chhandayan’s founder, Samir Chatterjee, the ashram environment will provide participants with ideal conditions to immerse themselves in an in-depth study of tabla. Tabla players of all levels are welcome to attend. Students and musicians of other instruments and non-Indian music (Jazz, pop, western classical, etc.) are equally welcome to get their share of the musico-spiritual experience through participating, watching and listening to the practice and recitals or just by sitting in the room, .

Boarding and lodging is arranged at a very reasonable cost (please consult the registration form). Rooms are of two types: double and triple occupancy. Individual preferences will be considered during allotment. Lodging includes breakfast (8 pm), lunch (1 pm), afternoon tea (4 pm) and dinner (7 pm). Please specify food restrictions or all allergies, if any.
