Chhandayan is one of the leading Institutes in North America and India that is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Indian music, dance and culture. Headquartered at the Chhandayan Center for Indian Music in midtown Manhattan, we provide a venue for high-quality concert performances, classes on different types of Indian music and dance and a space for musicians, artists and their supporters to interact in the advancement of the arts.
Started in 2014, The Circle of Friends is a group of individuals who have each pledged to financially support Chhandayan annually for at least five years. Funding from the Circle and continued growth of donor support is critical for Chandayan to enhance and expand the with our concert programming, educational opportunities and other outreach activities.
