Supriyo Dutta
Supriyo Dutta is regarded as one of the finest vocalists of his generation in Hindustani Classical Music, acclaimed for his soul-stirring renditions and mastery over a diverse repertoire that includes Khayal, Thumri and Bhajan. He has toured extensively across India, Europe, Australia, China, and the United States of America, presenting Indian classical music to audiences around the world.
He received his training under some of the most distinguished icons of Indian classical music: Pandit Ramkrishna Basu (Indore Gharana), Padmashri Pandit Vijay Kumar Kichlu, and Vidushi Subhra Guha. At present, he continues to refine his artistry under the guidance of Padmabhusan Pandit Arvind Parikh.
His contributions to Indian music have been recognized through numerous awards and accolades from prestigious cultural institutions worldwide. He was also honoured by the Governor for securing first position in his Master’s Degree in Music. As a student he was national scholar under Ministry of Culture. A passionate educator, Dutta has dedicated a significant part of his career to teaching and mentoring the next generation of musicians, reflecting his deep commitment to preserving and perpetuating the rich heritage of Indian classical music.
Dutta is the first Indian vocalist to perform at the President’s Palace in Rome. Among his many notable appearances are concerts for the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India International Centre, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, National Centre for Performing Arts Mumbai, Uttarpara Sangeet Chakra, Behala Classical Festival, West Bengal State Music Academy, Ramkrishna Mission along with international festivals and organizations including North American Bengali Conference(NABC), Massachusetts Institute of Technology Heritage Arts of South Asia, LearnQuest Boston, George Brown Centre Houston, Woodford Folk Festival Australia , Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Deutsch‑Indische Gesellschaft, Maharishi European Research University, the International Music Festival Colombo, and Shenzhen University.
In 2020, his documentary “Ustad Amir Khan – The Path Breaking Modernist”, hosted by Sangeet Ashram, received an award at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival. He has also directed several documentaries on Hindustani classical music and has worked as a music director and playback singer for various productions.

Dutta’s performances are a testament to the universal language of music, making him a revered figure among connoisseurs and new listeners alike.
Samir Chatterjee
Samir Chatterjee is a virtuoso tabla player. He performs and teaches all around the world. He can be heard on numerous recordings as soloist, and with other outstanding musicians from the East and the West. Samir lives in New Jersey and presides over a center for Indian music in midtown Manhattan. Samir teaches at several universities. He performed at the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. He has also performed several times at the UN General Assembly. His compositions and writings are widely acclaimed. Samir played a significant role in the musical revival in Afghanistan. He is the recipient of a few awards such as the Sunshine Award, Jadu Bhatta Award and Acharya Varistha Award.
