Samanvi Velagapudi
Samanvi Velagapudi began her Carnatic musical training in the Dallas-Fort Worth area under Smt. Sarada Karthik, a disciple of Neyveli Santhanagopalan, with whom she studied for eight years. She later continued her training under Vijayshri Vittal for two years, and currently learns from Vidushi Smt. Kalavathy Avadhooth.
Samanvi has performed at venues and festivals across the United States, while remaining actively involved in fostering performance opportunities for other artists. During her time at the University of Texas at Austin, she sang with a Western a cappella ensemble and helped organize musical performances throughout the Austin area. Alongside her musical pursuits, Samanvi currently works as a consultant at EY-Parthenon in New York City.
Tanisha Srivatsa
Tanisha Srivatsa is a Carnatic vocalist and violinist based in New York City, NY. Currently, she is fortunate to be under the guidance of Vid. Charumathi Raghuraman, a senior disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri T.N. Krishnan. Tanisha has appeared at several prestigious venues, including the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Brooklyn Raga Massive's Ragini Festival, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chhandayan Center for Indian Music, Columbia University's Raaga Mela, the Center at West Park, Akanksha Foundation, the Consulate General of India, and the United Nations. She has also had the privilege of accompanying for several dance theater productions, including the Nadanam Collective's Rachana and Silambam Phoenix's Waves of Resistance. Tanisha is a recent graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, where she studied economics, and currently works in finance.
Siddharth Raghavan
Siddharth S. Ragavan is a New York-based mridangist and composer under the tutelage of guru Shri Akshay Anantapadmanabhan and has played for hundreds of concerts, festivals, and fundraisers across the United States. Additionally, he is also a Western classical composer and film scorer studying at the Manhattan School of Music, where he uses his platform to bring more exposure to the Carnatic tradition and create works which blend the two genres.
