Vikram Nitin
Vikram Nitin is a Carnatic vocalist, and he had his initial training in music from his mother, Vidushi Smt. Sumitra Nitin. He has recently begun training under Vidwan AS Murali. Vikram has performed at various venues in Chennai, Bangalore and the USA, including Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana, Narada Gana Sabha, Brahma Gana Sabha, and Kartik Fine Arts. Vikram is currently a Ph.D student at Columbia University studying Computer Science.
Akshay Venkatesan
Akshay Venkatesan has been learning mridangam for the past 18 years. His initial training was under the guidance of Sri. Ramesh Srinivasan, and he has been undergoing advanced training under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri. S.V. Ramani since 2019.
Akshay has been accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists regularly all over the US and in many sabhas in the December music season in Chennai since 2013. Akshay has also been teaching Mridangam at the Mahaperiyava School of Percussion since 2020 under the guidance of Guru Sri. S.V. Ramani. Akshay is currently pursuing his master’s degree in data science at Columbia University.
Siddharth Ashokkumar
Siddharth Ashokkumar has learnt the violin for the last 20 years. He is a student of Lalgudi Krishnan and previously from Vittal Ramamurthy. Siddharth is the has had the privilege of performing internationally for traveling artists from India as well as during the December Music season in Chennai. Siddharth lives and works in New York City.
