Since the beginning of the Pandemic, and the consequent lock down, Chhandayan has been standing by a large number of artists in the eastern region of India, working restlessly through a Virtual Office to provide all sorts of aids and assistance in steering them away from any kind of catastrophe. Through regular interactions with them, Chhandayan realized that setting up Regional Arts Centers would be a long-lasting solution to this type of crisis emerging out of artists being a disorganized sector in the society.
Duttapukur Arts Center is the first establishment that has come about. On October 11th it was inaugurated through a cultural program featuring all local artists. In this concert we present some excerpts of 4-hours long program.
