Balachandra Prabhu is a descendant of the Kirana stream of Hindustani classical music. Having come from a family of talented musicians, he was introduced to music at a very early age by his father Shri Devadas Prabhu. He went on to attain advanced training and performing skills under the tutelage of Pandit Balachandra Nakod and later under Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi. Later, he had the privilege to train for several years under the revered Late Pandit Shreepathi Padigar (Hubli), who was a senior disciple of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and a great exponent of the Kirana Gharana.
He has enthralled music lovers across India, USA, Australia, UK, Dubai, Muscat, Kuwait to name a few and has been recognized by them as a true representative of the Kirana Gharana. Apart from classical music, he is also inclined towards devotional music and enjoys composing, playback singing and music production.

Gold medal in National level All-India Radio Hindustani classical vocal music competition for the year 2007 conducted by Prasar Bharati, Government of India,
Selected for National Scholarship for Young Artists in Cultural Fields from Ministry of Culture, Government of India for a period of 2 years in 2008,
Recipient of Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy scholarship from Government of Karnataka State, India in the year 2007,

Some of his key performances have been at the prestigious Marahoom Ustad Abdul Karim Khan Music Festival, Sawai Gandharva Festival, Kundagol, 96th Birthday of Padmavibhushan Dr. Gangubai Hangal, Tabla Nawaz Ustad Sheikh Smiriti Samaroh, Hyderabad, Amerikannadothsava at Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore.
Manav Khurana
Manav Khurana is a talented young tabla player from the Farrukhabad Gharana. His musical inclination became apparent at an early age, and his parents encouraged him to learn Dholak, Piano, and other instruments. As a teenager, he was initiated into the world of tabla by his dholak Guru Shri Roger Sookraj. He continued his study of tabla under Shri Kumar Raj Gandharva and Sabir Hussain of the Punjab Gharana. Subsequently, he began his serious training with Shri Dibyarka Chatterjee at the age of 14. In 2023 he became an initiated disciple (shishya) of tabla maestro Pandit Samir Chatterjee. Manav has already performed with some notable performers of Indian Classical Music including Pandit Sugato Nag, Shri Biplap Mukherjee, Pandit Hindol Chattopadhyay, Vidushi Shahana Banerjee and his Guru Pandit Samir Chatterjee. Outside of music, he is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Rohan Prabhudesai has been studying Hindustani and western classical music for the past 21 years and more recently, jazz. In India, he started studying at the Goa Kala Academy and later with Dr. Kedar Naphade, a senior disciple of Pt. Tulsidas Borkar. He studied classical piano with Edwin Lopez, music director of the Crescent Avenue Presbyterian church music program and continued to study classical contemporary composition at NYU Steinhardt and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. He currently is picking up jazz chops from Fred Fischer.
